Peptides talk anyone?

I'm considering starting a peptide regimen aimed at increasing fat loss, particularly around the midsection, and I'm trying to decide on timing.
I'll be out of the country for the first couple of weeks of July. Would it make sense to start now, run the regimen for about 45 weeks, take 2 weeks off while traveling, and then resume afterward? Or would it be better to wait and start fresh in mid-July?

Background:
  • Male, 51 years old
  • Lift 4x/week: 2 upper days, 2 lower days
  • Currently eating ~1,8001,900 calories/day
  • Protein intake: ~170175 g/day
  • Steps: ~10,000/day
  • Lost ~10 lb over the past 3 months
  • Waist dropped from ~35" to ~32"
  • Scale currently reads 22.1% body fat, but I feel like it's overestimating based on what I see in the mirror and the corresponding waistline decrease.
  • Starting scale body fat was ~24%
  • Current Arboleaf visceral fat reading: 9
I'm comfortable continuing with my lifting, steps, calories, and protein targets. I'm mainly wondering whether adding a peptide regimen could help speed up fat loss, and whether it's worth starting now given the upcoming travel interruption, or if waiting until after the trip would make more sense.

HOW MANY WEEKS, CALORIES AND PROTEIN PER DAY?! I think you're missing a few hyphens.

I would not let travel stop you. My understanding is you can travel with peptides.

Knowing what I know now and being a part of this community, I would suggest at a minimum starting Reta only for 8-12 weeks. See what that does with your schedule and workouts.

Then if you level out or plateau, add CJC/Ipa or Tesa to the Reta.

Edit: Fixed the missing hyphens. LOL

I think it's different for everyone, but I just focus on hitting my protein numbers with cleanish foods and don't worry about the rest. Some people do better with more carbs and some people do better with a little more fat, but protein is king.

This is what I'm doing as well.

Just taking 1.5 a week I was not hungry at all and really struggled with making myself eat. Have started again after my break from it and have actually lowered the dose some.

How on earth are people taking the dosages in that article?

Everyone's sensitive is slightly different. My wife takes like 1mg per week or less and adds a little Cagri and it's the perfect sweet spot for her. She is super sensitive to Reta.

This whole game is about measuring, managing and adjusting your own health regimen to hit your goals.

Also to add, a lot of people dose irresponsibly and are impatient. They crank up the dose and their body gets used to it and weight loss stalls, so they keep going up and up to try and achieve fat loss, instead of working on their diet or training harder in the gym, adding cardio etc.

I keep mine around 3mg per week for maintenance (which took me at least a year to work up to 3), and will dial it up to 4mg per week ONLY if needed. Like after the holidays when I gained a little lower belly fat from eating like **** and drinking too much to tolerate family holiday nonsense!

Then right back down to 3mg after a 2 week increase. This next cycle I'm starting I'm backing down to 2mg per week on Reta and adding some AOD for extra support since I'm focused on muscle building and need to increase calories.

34
natural 12-13% body fat currently
I'm at 69 training sessions year to date

thought on benefits to doing the ipa/tesa stack?

It wouldn't hurt to run tesa/ipa to help support your endogenous growth hormone. At 34 years old, you are still probably making a sufficient amount naturally, but supporting those natural pulses would be good. You will also probably see some abdominal and visceral fat reduction with the tesa as well, although you may not have much to lose at 12-13% BF.

I say try it out for 8-12 weeks and see how you feel. I would try 1mg tesa and 300mcg ipa per day.

I believe we discussed in this thread about supplementing zinc when using GHK-Cu.

Along those lines... what daily dosage are you guys using for things such as zinc, magnesium, etc?

I had two vials of reta in an upright freezer that got left open last Sunday night from about 11pm to 9am, it was packed full so not everything thawed, some stuff stayed frozen but the powdered reta was in the door which probably got unto the high 40s. Are they still good?
AgEng06
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Yes, I wouldn't have any issue using them. If anything, they may have lost a little potency/efficacy, but you probably won't even see a difference.

Edit to add - peptides will last for years in a fridge, so a slightly warmed up freezer isn't an issue.

Good to know, I was under the impression that they had to stay frozen when in powder form.

Most of them sit at room temp in warehouses before being shipped (in unrefrigerated shipping). Refrigeration is fine for long-term storage [glances at my 2 years of Reta in fridge]

What do yall do when taking a long trip? Two Weeks. Does TSA care? I keep my research materials in a fridge, so long flight obviously wouldn't have that.

Haven't done a long trip with TSA, so don't know about that. But I did buy a little pack thing on Amazon that has little ice packs and places to store the vials and syringes.
MosesHallEnforcer
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Yes that's what I use as well. TSA doesn't care, but you shouldn't put it in your carry on though. Pack it in your checked luggage.

I bring my little zip up kit with the ice packs and the peptides.
MosesHallEnforcer

Just standard dosage, whatever is on the label. I think it's 50mg zinc. I do take a little higher magnesium. 750mg I think.

I haven't flown with peptides, but based on feedback from others, this is what I would do as well.

I fly with mine all the time in my carry on. I put them in a diabetic travel case with ice packs, along with syringes and alcohol pads. I just take that out of my bag and put it through the X-ray in a tray, separately, and they usually just open it to look at the ice packs. Sometimes they don't even do that. Never had an issue.

Has anyone ever mailed a vile or two to a friend? I've got a buddy I want to send a wolverine and a Reta too that wants to try it before he dives in. Am I putting myself at any kind of risk by doing this?
AgEng06
How long do you want to ignore this user?
No, I don't think you're putting yourself at any risk to share them with your friend. I would wrap each vial individually in bubble wrap and put them in a small box or envelope (with an ice pack if you want) and ship away.

FYI, I finally ordered from Tony and used your referral code from your previous post. It's pretty sweet that I can drive over later today and just pick it up.

I got some BPC/TB for my daughter's dog. She's getting older and has some pain issues, so I figured I'd see if it helps her. I have plenty of GLOW, but I figured the stinging wouldn't be the best for her haha.

For my age my t levels are good but would like them higher. Anyone tried Testagen
AgEng06
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I haven't used it as I'm old enough to just get on TRT, but I have heard/read that testagen can actually help to naturally raise T levels.

You could also add in kisspeptin as well.

Thanks at 55 my levels are good so getting a prescription probably won't happen so trying something else
