What's your goals? That's the most important question.

What are you looking to improve on and what has been improving with your Reta so far?

Also, need to get a dexa to measure body fat and muscle.

My goals were weight loss and addressing fatigue. Libido isn't what it used to be but I'm not sure if that's just age or a direct effect of low T. Prob both. Weight loss is on the right track now thanks to reta but the fatigue has not improved much at all.

The only noticeable difference for me on reta is the appetite suppression and weight loss. Nothing else to speak of.

Dexa is next on my list. Going to try to knock it out in the next couple of weeks. I'm in north Fort Worth so if anybody has any recs on where to go that would be appreciated.

They have a lot of locations I've been getting mine done here.

Dexa will probably be life changing. If you read the Reta research the percentage of muscle loss is pretty high. What's worked for me, because of this thread, is lowest effective dose. I take enough to drown out the food noise but not too much where I struggle to eat and hit my protein goal. Focus on body recomp more than weight loss

Scale for me hasn't moved in two weeks. Today I put on a belt that fit a month ago now too big. I am only down two punds on the scale with none last two weeks but the belly fat is down for sure.

Also agree with bodyspec. Really quick and easy.

Are you lifting weights at all?

This has basically been my approach as well. Lowest possible dose.

Yes but only started this more recently within the past month or so.

Also, most important your dexa will tell you lean muscle so you know your absolute min grams of protein you have to hit everyday.

My wife and I don't really use a scale anymore. Just quarterly dexa after our different programs we are running.

She put on more muscle than I did from our late January dexa to the June dexa. It's really fun to measure progress and you can't argue with it!

Cool, you obviously need testosterone. I would also at least run a round of tesamorelin, as well as ss-31 and Motsc to fix and boost your mitochondria and energy.

Get your Dexa scan ASAP and run these for at least 8-12 weeks, while lifting at least 3-4 days a week and hitting your protein everyday.

This is the way!

I would also add push yourself in the gym. Once I really started focusing it's amazing how much difference it makes.

Thanks, Moses.

Can you recommend some doses and schedules for the peps you listed?

I'll do some other research as well. I've seen them discussed here but have no experience with them.

Going on 8 weeks with tesa and ipam. I'm getting the numbness/tingling thing in the hands frequently. I read this is a possible side effect of tesa/ipam dues to fluid retention in the arms/wrist that acts like carpal tunnel syndrome.

Anybody else having this? Does it subside eventually? I'm planning on going to 12 weeks but should I?
MosesHallEnforcer
How long do you want to ignore this user?
What are your doses? I would cycle off and try again 8 weeks later.
MosesHallEnforcer
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Yes it will subside if you lower your dose or when you come off.

I did 12 week cycles of the GH secretogues my first year, but only do 8 weeks of everything now. My first 12 weeks was amazing and great results, but at the end of my second 12 week cycle I was ready to come off and I could tell it wasn't as effective.

1mg tesa
.25mg ipam

Nightly 5 days on, 2 days off

I would cycle off for sure then.

Discussion question

Has anyone used a peptide that you thought was a complete waste? I got nothing out of AOD even when using it after a 24 hour fast I felt like it had no impact

Why not just run 1iu of HGH and just skip the tesa?

MOTS-C, NAD+, SS31.
Cliff Booth

SS31 and MOTC did nothing for me.

Have tried BPC157 and TB500 several times over the years. No noticeable difference. I've tried these in blends with KPV and GHKCU, and with all four of the above mentioned in separate injections. Did not notice any change.

I've tried DSIP and Pinealon for sleep and mood. No noticeable change.

None of the GH secretagogues did anything for me. I'm almost 53. Chalking this up to age and have just switched to HGH 191aa.

Reta works. I take 0.5 mg/day, and it keeps food cravings down.

What has worked? I know they aren't peptides, but Test Cyp, Deca, and Anavar.
MosesHallEnforcer
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Most people dose DSIP too low. 1-2 mg is money. It's my favorite for sleep.
MosesHallEnforcer
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Unless you took mito tests before and after there's no way to know whether ss-31 or Motsc had any benefit.

If you were in decent shape and exercising regularly you might not notice anything crazy. Same with the bioregulators like pinealon.

I'm surprised you didn't have any success with GLow, KLow or Wolverine, that seems to do something tangible for everyone.

But yeah, test, HGH and Reta are the holy trinity.

Question for pain, inflammation, arthritis etc, I've got issues with my low back (disc bulge, arthritis) and arthritis in most of my joints. Is Glow or Klow a better option to try to heal some of these issues?
HUEY04
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I would go with KLOW, it adds KPV which may be the best of those for arthritis.

The reason I run Tesa and HGH is Tesa helps with visceral fat. If you go back to two dexas ago I have a really high visceral fat compared to my overall body fat. The last one since starting Reta/Tesa I was down 17% visceral fat. I'm still high but that put a pretty significant dent into it. Hoping I cut another 10% prior to cycling off Tesa. Going to take two months off Tesa and start again. Really want my visceral to get in line with my overall.

Those three and Tesa and GHK have made the biggest impact. Tes I just recently started but can tell the difference.

As mentioned already, KLOW would be the best of those options due to the KPV.

I would also suggest adding in ARA-290 with it to help with neuropathy and neuropathic pain.

Either a drawer or probably the pantry.

Are you running any peptide stacks?

Nope, never felt the desire or need to. Although I have found this thread quite interesting and worth reading. On top of that, I have a 16 year old son who is a competitive powerlifter. Although he competes in a tested federation and says regularly he will never have any interest in changing that, I know full well what he sees in the world around him and the temptation is always there to take shortcuts. I've never used anything in my life beyond things like creatine and protein powder (run of the mill supplements). And the moment I start injecting something, it becomes "do as I say, not as I do".

It's the same with testosterone though. Rarely, any guy that has experience with optimized testosterone will tell another man that's struggling, NOT to supplement their most important hormone.

To be fair though, I used to be the feel the same way about trt before mine tanked after we had kids.

I wasted so much time and money on tongat ali, and the other bullcrap that doesn't work.

Have just started taking DSIP. Pretty impressed with the sleep quality.
