BTW Vai was awesome last night, good lord the talent that guy has is off the charts. I know his music isn't everyones cup of tea but his musicality is absurd. Highly recommend seeing him if you get the chance.

I would be giddy like a schoolboy if in flames did a jester race anny tour.

Man I miss their old stuff. Saw them in late 90s and early 2000s a few times, I don't get excited about them anymore. They rarely play pre-clayman stuff anymore.

Anyone know how to find out ticket prices for shows that haven't gone on sale yet??
Elton announced denver to replace the houston show on 11/4 which now can't happen because Astros.

Nowhere can I find prices to decide whether or not I want to try and get some.

also there are two amex presales, amex preferred access and amex early access.. what cards are these? I have amex marriott bonvoy, are those co branded cards usually a part of those presales?

I saw that Journey has two dates in Texas. Hoping they add more. I've never seen them.

Neil Schon is a good follow on socials if you like short videos of him soloing on a different sweet guitar every day.

Saw Jimmy Eat World with Dashboard Confessional there. Love it. Great venue. It reminded me of Revention (my favorite Houston venue) except bigger. Very clean, easy to get to and nice wide open floor with balconies and seating if you don't want to stand.

To expand on the 713 Music Hall topic.

Looking at going to Yungblud on May 13. Anyone interested in two box seats. Apparently you have to buy all 4. If it's worth it, I've got two covered. Just don't have many friends interested. I've inquired and it's $270/person includes in-seat service and a private table on the balcony. Comes with a VIP parking pass that we won't need (so if someone wants in it's yours!) and passes to their VIP lounge (never been here so I don't know any details on that).

Boxes are the tables along the sides. What are your thoughts about the seating in the back?

They are nice, but kind of make you feel like you're pretty far away (even though it's not that far), especially if you're not in the lower section of seats.

I was in loge C, row D for Jimmy Eat World/Dashboard at 713.

The best part of the venue in my opinion is the rise height on the seats where we were. Nobody had to worry about being blocked by the person in front of you. They did a great job making sure each row was high enough. The only complaint I had was you couldn't really hear the crowd. Both Chris and Jim mentioned how loud the crowd was singing back during their sets, but being in the back you didn't really get a sense of it like you would in a shorter (stage to back wall) room/setup.

Plenty of bars and restrooms. Everything was clean and super quick.

this is a live nation competitor, AEG's mission ballroom in Denver.
I love their bleacher style design for GA. Makes for good sight lines and your own little space.

Not 2022, already looking ahead. Going to catch the Depeche Mode show in Vegas in March. I've been a life long fan (since '87) and only got to see them live for the first time about 4 years ago. Still a great show even at their age and the music is timeless. And then theirs Vegas with a life long high school buddy.

Saw Green Day at COTA last Friday. Wish they just played Dookie in its entirety, but good times regardless.

Wife won tickets to Dwight Yoakam at WA earlier this month, but we were unable to attend. Damn shame.

Looking to go to this as well. Saw tickets when they went on sale and they were pretty outrageous but it should be well worth it, especially in Vegas (also a life long fan-my 3rd favorite band of all time). The crowd atmosphere at their shows are like no other in my experience.
