It's funny how The Hound tells Arya that poison is a woman's weapon, and how prior scenes strongly imply that Oberyn always has enjoyed playing the part of a woman. He certainly screamed like one in the end.

Aside from Tyrion reminiscing (as people facing death tend to do) and existentially wondering aloud if there's a purpose to his existence (or anyone's for that matter), or if we are all really just a bunch of beetles to be squashed without any meaningful purpose, this conversation was also a chance for the audience to see more of the brotherly bond that Tyrion and Jaime possess.
The scene was both grim and lighthearted, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Dinklage is one of the top actors on any screen.
I know the fight was the.main point of the episode (and it was awesome). But I laughed my ass off at Arya losing it when told her aunt was dead.

I think it will play into something. It seems like there are very few comments in this thing that are just off-handed and don't lead anywhere. That seemed like a planted comment that will come into play...and likely soon. Heck...just like your observation about Bronn's comments regarding the Mountain. But then again.....who freakin' knows at this point.

With Tywin so concerned about his bloodline, why wouldn't he have just married some new girl and had more kids once Aerys put Jaime on the Kingsguard?

Was that Arya losing it or Arya laughing at the Hound because his plan of selling her to her aunt is foiled? I didn't get the sense that was her losing it.

I saw it as her laughing at the hound too
I think it was BOTH - she was lauging at the absurdity of it all (the last year+ searching for anyone, only they keep ending up dead) and at the Hounds misfortune of having his grand plans thwarted again.
It was a great moment I thought....was almost surprised The Hound did not just backhand her into the rocks though. But I think he was too stunned.

She and Hot Pie and Gendry all get captured by the Brotherhood without Banners after they sneak out of Harrenhall when the creepy assassin dude helps them escape. At about the same time the Brotherhood captures the Hound. He demands a trial by combat after he's accused of some stuff, wins the trial by "killing" Berric Dondarion (who is later brought back to life for the umpteenth time by the Red Priest dude Thoros of Myr). So the Hound is released since he won. Arya is pissed about his release and Gendry being sold/given to the Red Woman so she runs away from their cave where the Hound grabs her in the woods and takes her with him. He says he's going to take her to her brother and mom.
I'm guessing you remember the rest from there. Am I leaving anything out or forgetting anything?
