Most really bad recseesive genes dont affect us. But if your parents are closely related, you have a higher chance of having recessive traights. That is why the children all have blond hair and not dark. Dark is dominant over blonde, but with siblings being parents, you might have recessive gene issues.

Think of dogs. Hip displasia in labs is very common due to interbreeding. Its a recessive trait, but most labs have it.

All 3 of them are. Cersi killed Roberts only child when he was just born. That is the whole thing about Jamie's kids having blond hair and roberts kids having brown hair.

He means Robert's only child WITH CERSEI.

According to the show (S1) when Robert and Cersei were actually talking about their marriage (and couple that with Cersei telling Ned she actually lusted for Robert back then), she lets loose that she thinks the marriage went south when they lost their first child. After that their marriage was doomed.

For all we know the first child didn't die and is actually Gendry for that matter. It isn't in the books about the first child and Robert's *******s are different in the show than the books as there are 2 others that are very minor characters that we never met in the show (which is likely the show spoiling the book in that those 2 don't matter).

The 2 scenes in Season 1 where they talk about the first child (Cat with Cersei and Cersei with Robert) don't exist in the books. The show has taken that story line a different direction as they have many things.

Very true but they should've made that inference already. As a joke, I'm starting to wonder if the Whitewalkers are there to rid the world of all these terrible people south of the wall.

Also, how is Locke (boltons man who "joined" the nights watch) supposed to take his vows, complete his mission, and then stroll on back to Bolton? The nights watch take those vows seriously (beheading seriously).

If you recall S1E1 the Starks are charged with capturing and beheading deserters. Bolton, unlike Ned, doesnt take vows as serious. Shtt, 6 episodes ago he killed his liege lord he was sworn to. But even if he did take vows seriously, why would he behead one of his best killers who is charged with killing the Stark heir?

Getting discussion back on track, I think the best overall package shown so far is the Red Witch. Wow.

Roz was pure smoke. We didn't get to see Dany's hot hand-maiden or all of Robb's wife. Theon's torture chicks were pretty unbelievable too, as were the one's that Pod did so well with.

I think the next best contender for best rack has to be the interpreter.
