I'm in the middle of Book 3 and that's not what happened at all. It's shocking (or is it?) that the Book and the show can be so different. And yeah, it's a marathon to finish not 1, not 2, but potentially 7 1000 page books, but the books are SO much better than the show, and I'm only half way through Book 3 (however, I hear that Book 4 is a little dull).
This is not a book thread. We dont care what is different between the book and show.

I wouldn't recommend pointing out all the differences of show and book and how much better the books are on this thread. That horse has been beaten bloody. The books are freaking awesome but we have a thread for them, just suck it up and get through the books so you can have join some of the spoiler discussions.
