Hey remind me again why Bran's quest north to see the three eyed raven is so damn important?
He has chronic 3-eyed raven dreams and is noticing that some of those visions are coming to pass or have merit. Plus, they promise him the ability to "fly" or at least a way out of his crippled body. He knows that they are connected to his warg abilities in some way. He's seeking the 3-eyed raven for some of the same reasons Luke sought out Yoda lol. In other words, to understand and develop his skills and to find some meaning in everything that's happening to him. Jojen and Meera have been there to flame his desire to learn more.
I think, on some level, he sees safety at the end of this pursuit. He knows he can't even go to the Wall for safety because word of his existence would get out and there are still compromised men with varied allegiances in the Night's Watch.
