I'm like a kid when it comes to the Olympics. Have watched them religiously since a small kid from start to finish. Looking forward to the next two weeks.

I'll watch as much as I can. I enjoy watching:

Tennis
Swimming
Running events

There are others but I can't think of them now. While the gymnastics athletes are amazing, I'm not glued to the TV for these events like most.

I'll be in Paris 7/28-8/3! A lifelong dream come true for me!
We are going to the following events:

Fencing Men's Foil QF-Final and Women's Sabre QF-Final on July 29th

Tennis Singles Men's R32 and Women's R16 on July 30th

Beach Volleyball Men and Women Prelim matches on July 30th

Judo Women's 70kg Round of 64-QFs and Men's 90kg Round of 64-QFs on July 31st

Swimming Women's 1500m free Final, Men's 200m breaststroke Final, Women's 200m butterfly Final, Men's 100m free Final, and Women's 100m free Final on July 31st

Equestrian Team Jumping (because its in Versailles!) on August 1st

Swimming Women's 200m butterfly Final, Men's 200m backstroke Final, Women's 200m breaststroke Final, and Women's 200mx4 streetstyle relay on August 1st

Archery Mixed Team Final on August 2nd

Track and Field decathlon events, and 100m heats on the morning of August 3rd

If anyone has any tips on Paris, or the Olympics please tell me!

I couldn't tell you, sorry. Tonight was the first time I watched the 7's. I played when I was in middle and high school so I understand the sport. What I could tell is they self destructed.

Some of it is cool, but at the same time, it always feels like the opening/closing are the pinnacle in honoring the corrupt shakedown aspect of the Games.

I thought Celine Dion's performance was very powerful.

Overall the opening ceremony was very creative and colorful - I'd give it a solid A.
