You can't change your ancestry, and you can't change history (although some try to rewrite it). Mond's ancestors chose to fight for their State as did many young men during that time. They also chose to be a slave chaser as a profession.

Mond has been praised for his leadership through this turbulent situation. Going forward, we will find out what kind of person and what kind of leader he is based on what he does or says next in regards to Sully. I think most Aggies are watching and waiting.

After reading this whole thread I am sad to say that so far I don't have proof that Mond is my cousin too.

I would be proud to have such accomplished ancestors, even if by 2020 standards some of the things they did were wrong or even evil.
