That link about Perry refers to a term, used in the past, for geographic features all over the state, according to the newspaper report. It wasn't on the A&M campus, and Perry didn't name it.

I guess what the person who posted about the past coaches does not understand is that it is about access to opportunity, not a guaranty of results. You still have to produce once in the position. The positions are not considered off limits as they seemingly are at some institutions in this
state. Hmmm....
Of course you can avoid the whole issue of having
to dismiss someone if you never give them a
chance. Maybe someday they will be able to
break out some Sam Cooke in Austin.
