I'm just pumped that Dana/Crane didn't "wait out" Breggy's decision and lose out on a player like Walker. Make another smart move or two and this will be a very good offseason for Dana.

I mean...At this point I don't think so.

Dude has so many clients and continues to add to his portfolio.

I just don't see guys all of a sudden avoiding Boras because 3-4 guys over the past couple seasons haven't gotten the deals they expected.

I could Baltimore being interested in Pressly, but he's not bringing values to the trade. It's going to take prospect capital.

Nats couldn't keep Soto even after 500 M offer before 500 M offers were a thing.
Yanks couldn't keep Soto after 700 M offer.
Sox didn't keep Betts
Braves didn't keep Freeman
Angels didn't keep Ohtani
Braves didn't keef Fried
Nats didn't keep Harper
Dodgers didn't keep Seager
Dodgers didn't keep Machado
Giants didn't keep Snell
Dodgers didn't keep Turner
Sox didn't keep Bogarts
Dodgers didn't keep Sherzer
Mets didn't keep deGrom
Nats didn't keep Rendon

Good players leave for a lot of money and that includes from big market teams. The Astros have had a bunch of good players.

Lets just ignore the multiple extensions between Altuve, Bregman, Alvarez, Pressly, Gurriel, Brantley, Verlander, McCullers, etc.

I've lived in Phoenix a couple of years and like this for the Astros. He can hit and is great with the glove. DBacks fans are disappointed.

I think if anything, it will push more players to him. Boras is getting the reputation of a guy who asks more than the market price. Some guys get it (Soto, Harper, Seager). Others don't, but it's the Ws that folks will remember.

Yep. And not to mention Tucker did a disappearing act in back to back postseasons. Management did good to get the return that they got for Tucker, and Walker seems to be a more-than-serviceable 1B.

While Donovan would fit well (and really concretize this new 3 year roster window), you can't give up Spaghetti without have a plan to acquire another arm that is cheap and not a JAG.

Yeah I'm not sure I'd part with Spencer.

I really think he could be a stud #2/3 arm in a rotation.

A potential future Framberless rotation of HB, Javier, Araghetti, Garcia could be pretty damn salty.
