My hope is that Dana and Crane are thinking more in terms of 2026 and beyond rather than just focusing on 2025. That means there may be some "unpopular" moves - like trading Tucker, Framber and possibly Pena. I just feel we need an infusion of young talent, and young talent that is 1-2 years away, not 4-5 years away. IMO, the only way to get there is to use the assets we have now that other teams value.

There should be some easy fixes.

Find a RHB to platoon with Jon at 1B.

Find a way to move Press or find a way to fix his head/attitude. Ok. Let's be honest. Move him.

Make a decision on Jake/Chas. See if Chas can fix his bad season at the plate. Otherwise find a LFer and at least a LHB platoon in CF.

Worry about 3B later.

I will say, Miller has a shot to top him. He has to keep it up, but there is a chance he hits FA and gets a 50-100 M deal.
