I really do not want to dump Caratini but I guess backup catcher is going to be handed to Salazar and we don't need a backup at 1B. He's only $6MM but it's $6MM we can use. Move Pressly and I guess it's goodbye to Big Jon. Although he's only costing $850k. Between those three that's $20MM if you can move Pressly and not eat the money.

Pretty sure the Mariners aren't trading with us, so that rules out Robles. Isn't Raley with Seattle too? What about Lane Thomas or Ward with the Angels?

Mullins makes a lot of sense. Lefty bat and will match Tucker's ability on the bases. He's had some real up and downs at the plate though.

You're probably right, but they love making trades and we have dealt with them before (Graveman).

I was targeting a left handed hitter. Someone who can pair with Meyers/Mccormick/Dezenzo.

I'm dangling Melton for Donovan but I doubt we have the bullets to get him. Marsh is the only other one that has much appeal to me but I also doubt the Phillies have much interest in moving him.

He has. But you start him vs RHP and then use him as a PH or defensive replacement in a corner late in games.

4 of the last 5 years, he's been damn good vs RHP.

If we acquire a plus MLB bat for an OF spot, I think the lineup is improved from 2024.

Would be pretty impressive after trading Tucker.

Unsure if we'll be able to maneuver that acquisition though.

I wouldn't mind moving Caritini if it meant getting a OFer.

Salazar actually impressed in the limited time he had on the club last season. Albeit it was a small sample size but dude was actually PH RBI machine.

You lose some flexibility since he doesn't play 1B but with Walker in the fold I don't think that's a concern anymore.
