I haven't done any deep analysis for other teams. But it is pretty interesting to see who the Spurs have drafted and how their careers have played out. If the bar for success is to pick guys who actually play for a while then it's very impressive. 2nd round picks Meto and Weatherspoon are still in the league. Undrafted signee Forbes has made some major coin. I think Drew Eubanks is going to have a nice career mostly as a backup big.TheNotoriousP.I.P. said:
Even James Anderson was looking promising before his injuries; our only true misses since RC took over were Samanic and Jean-Charles imo, maybe Milutinov but that pick was made solely to give us the cap space to bring in LMA so I don't even really count it. Jury still out on Primo I suppose as well. Makes me very excited to see what we can do with three picks, our rate of return has to be one of the highest in the league. Even some of our less successful picks like Mahinmi or CoJo stuck around the league for a long time.

Borrego canned. Possible Pop replacement? Will likely have Snyder as an option too.

The San Antonio Spurs could play a home game at the Alamodome, in Mexico, and in Austin next year.

First, we got a first round draft pick and Josh Richardson in exchange for White. Richardson played extremely well and actually may fit the Spurs better than Derrick did. The Spurs won that one.utah, get me two said:
No I'm not. I have zero clue why we got rid of guys like Bertans, white, Forbes
I'm of the opinion that the Spurs could be good with the team they have but not good enough to win a championship. None of the guys you mentioned would have changed that. They need a superstar caliber player to go with these guys to put them over the top. The front office is trying to accomplish that by acquiring draft picks and draft capitol that will maximize the possibility of that happening either through the draft or through a trade. If they get the right pieces in place, they might be able to entice a nice free agent as well.utah, get me two said:
Yea well we would have been better off with them
