Also that was a great piece of defending by Gabriel right before our 2nd goal. Had to catch Zaha and then make sure to not bring him down. Naturally Zaha goes down looking anyways

At this point i think i would prefer we miss out on EL. If we have EL we will likely make some stupid moves in the summer that keep us middling around mid table fighting to stay in EL. Think it would be a greater benefit to cut some of the dead weight, run with a smaller squad and get the young guys much more playing time. Focus on development and league position and hopefully we legit earn EL/CL (top 5) and go into the following season with a much stronger squad.

I think EL is totally out of contention. 7th gets ECL and I'd be ok with that as long as the plan is for no starters to ever play in it. That tournament is used strictly for 3rd stringers and youth players looking to impress

But the problem there is that Arteta, some youngsters and some bench players will still be travelling to the middle of no where for worthless games when they could all be in London training. Unless we send Steve Bould and the U23s to these games, I'd rather not participate.

Everybody is crapping on the Europa Conference, and of course I'd rather be in Champions or Europa proper, but we will have some young potential stars that I think will need the playing time. I'm thinking of Joe Willock, William Saliba, Balogun, and even some players like Martinelli don't get enough minutes.
