We've finally appear to have the back cleaned up, mostly against lower league teams but it's a starting point.

The last match of January and then February will be a rough slate of games and we'll find out if this turn around is truly a turn around.

And this is why I have zero faith in our front office or the ownership. Granted it is cherry picking a little bit. Wilshere, Welbeck and Cazorla were all let go more due to constant injuries than performance. Most people thought Cazorla was never playing again. We did technically get Mhki for Sanchez as well.

I'd say our bigger issue isn't selling as much as it is letting players wind down their contracts to nothing. Look at the current situation with Balogun (who we need to resign, but he seems to be demanding 1st team action) and Nketiah only has 1.5 years left in a similar situation.

Felix Diaz is pretty reliable on madrid info as far as I understand. Would love for it not to be true. Doesn't sound like anything is finalized

Sounds like Odegaard may prefer Sociedad due to familiarity but Real may not sanction the move if additional offers are available because Sociedad are currently just 6 pts behind Real in the tables.

Ohhhh... good idea for a post-season project. I'm going to look up the number of posts on the team threads over the last couple of years and see how they correlate to final table position. And of course use that correlation to PROVE that our posts here CAUSE our teams to do well/poorly.

While technically they sit in the relegation spot for the top half of the table, Villa is right behind but with 3 games in hand. So you could make an argument they are actually top of the second half of the table. That will make your analysis harder. You will have to decide which spot to award them to correlate things correctly.

What is better? Relegation from the top half or top of the second half?

I feel like Chelsea have way more to ***** about right now, but that thread is a crawl. I'd be furious with Frankie not getting his 200m offensive bankroll to not at least score some goals

Seeing some reports claiming that we are looking at Ryan Bertrand for backup LB. He is 31 and contract expires this summer. Not sure if we are looking for a short loan or a cheap purchase. At his age, I'd rather not commit too much to him but HG backup may not be horrible to buy on the cheap and get him on a 2 yr deal.
