Contact tracing and then isolating athletes based off of it so asinine, especially when considering the very remote chance the disease even causes illness to their demographic

If we're without Tierney, I'd just go ahead and play 3 atb with Gabriel/Luiz/Holding with Bellerin and AMN as your WB. Granted Arteta really likes having a left-footed player at the back so Kolasinac is probably gonna start

Everything I've read says Arsenal has been talking to Scottish authorities, so it must be coming from Scotland. I know the Scottish FA's statement talked about the Scottish health authorities.
I've not really looked into it regarding Covid, but I assume like most things with Scotland, there's a weird, slightly complicated power-sharing relationship between Scottish authority and UK authority when it comes to the issue.

Well that was disappointing. Willian is starting to look like Mhki and I'm not sure where the idea to play him as a false 9 came from.
Luiz needs to be banned from free kicks. He scored 1 worldie in the 2014 World Cup. Willian, Pepe, Auba, Laca and even Xhaka are better options.

Willian as a false 9 was bizarre. Lacazette has had a nice start to the season; is he a little bit hurt or something?
Was this maybe Arteta trying to outsmart Pep? Put Willian at number 9 and either force a cb to play up and chase Willian or drop a central midfielder deeper. It felt like the goal was to get into 1v1 or get behind on the wing.
Yeah, does seem like Arteta had two weeks to prepare and tried to get really clever.
I wasn't a fan, as you can tell. And maybe it's not strictly Willian's fault, but it just felt like we left the box empty and never really did much to sneak something in. It'd needed to be a high enery game from the wings and it just didn't happen.
