Dr. Gates is doing the best he can for our military while in a tough situation. I would much rather have him fighting for our troops in the halls of Washington than some administration hanger-on.

I'd love Dr. Gates to return to A&M. That would be the greatest.
But sadly he needs to remain where he is to help undo the deceit and lies from the last administration that tricked us all to get behind the Iraq War again. What a tragic waste of life, budget and trust that has been.
While Cheney, Rummy and the Bush Family all enjoy their great wealth, Dr. Gates is left holding the bag of poo from that effort.
