About ready for Dr. Gates to return to Aggieland. Hope about it Dr. Gates ??

Would love for Dr. Gates to return, if he is not too old now. I forget his age. Probably mid seventies or so.
Dr. Gates is currently 70 years old according to Google.
Dr. Gates does not want another run at President of A&M at 70 years of age. Once was enough.
Would still love to see him return in some capacity.

I had a book signed today. During the fast paced "no personalization, no photos" signing he did, I simply said "Thank you for your service Ranger 65" He paused and looked up at me with a smile and went back to signing books for hundreds.
Sure am proud that Aggieland made its mark on the man. What a tremendous honor to have he and 41 back in Rudder today.
