Jim apparently took offense by Germain catching him and cranked it up a notch. He's passed Zach for the lead just before La Giete at 137km. Wow.
A male Chinese runner has been clung to Courtney for hours now, never more than 10 feet away. I know she's a kind humble person but surely even she's got to be annoyed by now.
At 147km Jim is about 6 minutes under Kilian's time from last year. He's really come alive in this second half. Zach's back about 11 minutes.
Francois at the 155km aid station pumping Jim up while crewing for him and giving him a pep talk before departing. Jim's about to go rock these last 2-3 hours.

Speaking of Salomon vests, I wish they would bring the yellow back. I need to get an Adv Skin 12, and I'm kind of bored with the colors.
I've been looking around at vests. I am tired of my Nathan handheld. Salomon seems to have the best of the best. And yes the colors are stale. Black, red, blue, olive.
They had a nice green, but I didn't decide on it until my size was gone.
