the only question is do their UAV have the range- which is likely why Iran fired missiles at neighboring Azerbaijan

Range requires bigger drones, and bigger drones mean bigger costs and slower response times. That's why you need air based drone carriers....especially in a place as large and remote as northern Iran.


In 10 years, we are going to see AI powered AEW drones, directing interceptor drones, and drone carriers for offensive operations. Absolutely wild you know it's coming.

We will quickly see this type of technology for drones. I'm not too worried about it

Surely staging, operating, and launching these missile systems takes a level of expertise. How quickly can you replace these crews with people you trust and train them to be of any use?

I thought the same exact thing, especially the launchers in remote, hidden areas. Once they're destroyed along with the crew I doubt they have a B team just ready to go to launch their back-ups but I could be wrong although even if they did have a B team ready to go how motivated will they be after watching their A team get obliterated.

It's probably a job anyone can be trained to do in short order. Ukraine and Russia seem to be doing it.

If the irgc mass men and armor, they will be destroyed quickly. The hanger ons will conduct gorilla warfare. Arming the Iranian people is the way that must be defeated imo.

If we do arm anyone over there, I sure hope it's with native Iranian weapons, not high tech US/NATO weapons.

It's becoming quite clear that if we want regime change in Iran, we are going to have to do it ourselves.

If we bomb them, stop bombing, and the people let it go back to the way it was (it's looking this will be the case), then we will have spent 2 years bombing the hell out of Iran for nothing. Iran will ramp up missile production to levels we have not yet seen, and build nukes with zero apprehension.

We are committed now. The IGRC has called our bluff and the people haven't risen up. We have to go in
