The patriot system is very very good at shooting down jets. Idk if anyone remembers the F15E that got shot down in Iraq in 03. I believe the pilots were rescued amongst the jessica lynch group. Anyways, they were shot down by a patriot system too.

They just ejected out of a struck fighter jet landing behind enemy lines (or not on American soil) and they're just casually standing there smiling. If I even made it to the ground alive I'd be balled up in the fetal position with my sidearm ready to empty the mag at anyone approaching me.
