For now. Without future Iranian Regime financial and equipment support? Won't last long, IMO.

I can't imagine any of this is exacerbating the dire water shortages in Iran. [/sarcasm]

True, but the "for now" is important

We have other ME countries ready to assist in the overall effort. Assign degrading the Houthis to them.

as the noose tightens via air superiority and better on ground intel, it is going to get ever increasingly risky for those idiots to fire missiles and live to tell about it.

Seems like the strait needs to be taken out (or at least whatever these idiots have there that can take out ships).

I'm sure they've littered the strait with mines by now.

Mossad tracked Khamenei and his leadership by hacking into Tehran's traffic cameras for a year. They also infiltrated the mobile phone network to send out busy signals so that none of the leadership would receive warning. CIA had a mole on the ground that verified the meeting. Crazy stuff.

Three types of targets can be identified to have been prioritized in the first 48 hours of major combat operations along the southern coast of Iran. In order of magnitude:

1. Iranian Naval ships docked in the major port of Bandar Abbas and the minor port in Chabahar. It is reported that 9 Iranian vessels have been sunk as of early 02 March 2026.

2. Radar installations in Bandar Abbas, Kish Island, and Zahedan Airbase. Known radar installations in Jask, east of Chabahar, and elsewhere along the coast have yet to be neutralized.

3. Air Bases in Bushehr and Konarak. These sites are known to contain air defense missiles, weapons depots, UAVs, and conventional fixed-wing fighter aircraft.

The Chamran ballistic missile base next to the city of Jam was also struck, according to local reports and eyewitness footage. The majority of the base is underground for its silos' launch capability, and therefore support buildings outside were most likely targeted.
Eye witness footage in Shiraz also showed American UAVs operating overhead, conducting strikes

Chinese ships have already passed through the Straits of Hormuz in the last few hours

we have sank 9 of the largest Iranian Sepah Naval fleet

I am sure we are getting to the point of strafing their speedboats with our Seahawks

My line of thought as well. Saudis are vexed by the Houthis a lot. Let them get their payback.

Bandar Abbas, Iran's key naval base on the Strait of Hormuz, is ablaze.

The base hosts the Iranian Navy's main headquarters, and many of its most capable ships and submarines.
