After speaking to several direct sources, I now feel confident in reporting that an F-15E Strike Eagle with the U.S. Air Force crashed early Wednesday during a strike mission over Southwestern Iran. The cause of the crash is still unknown, though at least one source attributed it to Iranian air defenses, with both the Pilot and Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) able to successfully eject over Iran.

Following the crash, Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) elements with the U.S and Israeli Air Force - on standby in a neighboring country - were activated, entering Iran roughly an hour after the crash of the F-15. In the resulting operation, both crewmembers were found and safely evacuated without further incident, being transported to Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The Pilot and WSO are claimed to suffered minor injuries but were in otherwise "good condition," with both being airlifted for further treatment to Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.

Further confirmation and details of the incident are expected to come at a later time from U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).



WaPo reporting this story isn't true.

Any of their top leadership still alive?

I know they will continue to go down the line but - any glaring observations of key leaders, sons of the Supreme Leader that are still alive?

Multiple osint reported it, some far in advanced of others. Many are still saying they maintain the event happened despite what centom put out.

Almost no one in the world knows this -

but we could launch a raid from the southern tip of Azerbaijan into Teheran and it's only a distance of 308 miles!!

we could literally send hundreds of MRAPS and HUMVEES from Azerbaijan into Teheran in the middle of the night and be there in 5 hours.

A stray Iranian missile landed in Syria and failed to explode. I assume it was fired at Israel and had some type of failure falling short and hitting this Syrian field. I believe this shepherd may be a Darwin Award candidate.

supposedly Mujtaba Khameini who is/was the son of Ali was chosen to replace his dear departed dad.

but he has not been seen in 5 days so the Israelis may already have sent him to Valhalla

The strike was on the fighter plane parked in between and slightly in front of the two larger cargo planes. It was a direct hit.

With the amount of shrapnel flying off that explosion I have doubts those cargo planes ever fly again and that's not even accounting for flames from burning jet fuel if that fighter was fully fueled.
