nobody is a bigger fan of Kim than me on the boards, but i wish she'd have less of a conscience.

besides, chuck is a bad dude. he had it coming imho. she shouldn't feel guilty over that.

One question regarding Kim...Are her and Jimmy a thing? Like are they dating?

I know they live together, but IIRC we don't ever see them show any affection toward each other. No hugs, kisses, romantic scenes, etc.

oh no

neither character is very affectionate and both seem very guarded with their true feelings. seems that they are both trying hard to keep their business "together but separate" and their love lives together but as F buddies only. I think the writers are trying to make it obvious they care about each other, but neither can show it too much. i bet it's going to be a bad break up though.

I might not be remembering correctly, but in BB Saul went into hiding because of the white supremacist, not the DEA, correct?

If that was the case, couldn't he now return to his original identity after Walt took killed them all?

If I am wrong them why would Saul have to go into hiding in the first place? Wouldn't he be protected via Client Privilege?

Valid point, but remember that Walt goes into hiding for several months. It could be that everything we see of Gene is while Walt is still in hiding.

Right, I guess where I was taking this is that Saul sees the news after the events of BB and returns to greatness.

I know that Gale unpacked all the equipment in a flashback scene, did he not actually install it all and start using it to produce his lesser quality product?
Re watch the opening scene of BB season 5 episode 1, Gale is in the process of installing the equipment when Walt first meets Gus (circa 2009). BCS is still set in 2002.

It's possible that Gus uses the laundromat for something else between 2002 - 2009. However, it's clear that Gus mainly focuses on distribution and only starts working manufacturing around the time BB starts.

And why are there spoiler warnings for BB references?

Just being careful, some people haven't watched, or are in the process of watching. I know statue of limitation is well passed, but people still care.

We have confirmation that BCS is now in 2003 (someone saw court calendar in the episodes where they destroyed his brother in court)

I think those using BB spoilers are being considerate of others. I like that there are those viewing BCS through non-BB eyes. It benefits the thread to have that viewpoint represented so for the "big" things, the tags are nice to use. Some things we obviously don't use tags, because there is a low likelihood of it being remembered or is insignificant to the story.

For example if they pass by a certain motel I think saying, "Hey that's the motel Wendy used" is not in need of a tag.

What if... Walt somehow knows for certain where Saul ends up and contacts him to connect with the arms dealer?

Since we've talked about BCS ratings earlier in the thread:

"Better Call Saul" is once again the big winner in Live +7 ratings. It grew by the largest amounts among both adults 18-49 and viewers for the week of May 15.

The AMC show added 1.1 points (growing from 0.6 to 1.7) to its 18-49 rating with seven days of DVR and on-demand viewing and rose by 2.47 million viewers (1.72 million to 4.19 million).

There really is nothing to develop with Cinnabon Gene. I wouldn't expect anything of significance to come of that storyline. To me that was just something fun for the BB fans.

I agree. There is A LOT going on now with ALL the characters, but Mr Cinnabon is going nowhere. It's like a prisoner serving life telling a reporter how he got there.

The development of Mike and Nacho, and their plan to take down Hector is pretty fascinating ... especially since it requires Mr Baseball's help.
I disagree. Was it over for Walt when he was nearly dying in the cabin? Sure, he had a score to settle, but why doesn't Saul have one too.

For Saul, is the game ever really "over" when he is somehow not coming out on top? The whole set up is that he continues to get knocked to the mat and he takes an 8 count, then bounces right back up. I can see a lot of potential in Gene for setting up a last stand or two. Maybe he reunites with Kim who is some elder law person in Kansas City and he grooms her to be something like Saul and he pulls strings from behind the curtain. She has shown a knack for playing the game when she lets go of her tight ass sphincter.

That was an entertaining post.

Although I think that is wishful thinking on your part, part of me hopes you are right.

You're definitely right on Kim though. She's shown a real knack for being Jimmy's accomplice when she entertains her naughty side.
