The Dark Tower is my absolute favorite fantasy series of all time. For those that don't know, this is Stephen King's life's work and took him over 30 years to complete. It is an amazing series. I kind of wish they had the roles reversed with MM as Roland and Elba as the Man in Black but it will be interesting to see how this works. Either way I am stoked
Interesting take...you might be right. I think Elba has the chops to pull this off, excited to see his take at a surly, grizzled veteran basically.
I doubt anyone truly cares, but just FYI, the new Transformers trailer that was supposed to be coming this week ended up being a new IMAX featurette instead...

Cars 3 teaser trailer dropped and it is DARK! Could be great but it could be just like Kong and go 180 to slapstick on the next trailer.

Sure, it's a teaser with no footage of the characters talking, but the animation on this just looks stunning.....

Looks like the onslaught over the next three weeks of 2017 blockbuster trailers begins this Sunday with the trailer for The Mummy. Would expect any of those listed a few posts above and more to start rolling out relatively soon after...

Ha, it really is almost a joke at this point. They have him running in even the teaser for the trailer. So funny.
I'm not sure what it is about Cara Delevigne, but she does it for me. She seems to have a different look than most other stars, I can't really explain it.

Man the 1999 Mummy was awesome.
I have no desire to watch exactly 2% of any of those movies next year!!

Seems like an odd time to air it.
There are so many other big name trailers about to drop, they're probably just trying to stand out any way they can / beat the rush.

Maybe he's his character from The Edge of Tomorrow but he doesn't recycle back to the beginning this time?
He's "cursed" by the mummy and apparently part of the plot is him trying to break that curse.

I hold no apologies for going to see his movies. He makes the shiniest, most insanely fun pieces of s**t movies, but they are fun to watch.
