Miriam - I unfortunately have no info on Brockman, but there has been a guy dwelling on this site for years who pretended to be former lawman, NYC business woman, former NFL and college coach, musician, child actor and oil field consultant with a PhD. He is like our own version of Beetlejuice.

After a few days on TexAgs you will forget about Brockman. You have reached a very strange place built for very strange people. Welcome to Hell.
I worked there for a few years in the '90s. I was just a worker bee, so I didn't have much direct interaction with him. You can find most of the info/stories in the first 20 pages of this thread. It was a sh*tty place to work and I am not surprised that Bob has landed in this position. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it at least a little bit.

I've been laughing at the stories in this thread for more than a decade, and I would love to see some this stuff make it into the WSJ. Plus, she's still here after the initial reflexive smartassery. So bonus points for that.

Its kind of like hell week all the time, everybody hates it and there is a bonding. Chris Cooper doesn't do anything productive for that company and neither does his dad. ChargerAg, I tried to get fired but they wouldn't do it. I got written up for excesive phone use and I got to the point were I practically told my boss to kiss my ass and they still did not fire me.

I hope you're able to get some takers due to bumping an epic thread but a piece of advice, people with stars next to their user name are able to send and receive private messages and that would probably be a more effective way of getting in contact with some of those who had stories to share, especially if they wrote something some time ago.mgottfried said:

A basic subscription would do it, I think it's something like $2 or $5 a month and for your purposes would more than pay for itself because I'm pretty sure they get a notification of some sort next time they get on the site. It also means that they're still active since it isn't free. Otherwise it's just kind of luck of the draw who happens to show up and see this.
Looking forward to seeing how all this turns out because UCS was pretty legendary!

Sure she'll have good stories from this thread alone but what kind of quality info will she get? I'd think someone that worked with the guy weekly would be something of substance. I didn't see that on this thread
But this is how the "news" is these days.. clicks and eyeballs. Be damn the facts if they don't help their story sell. And they wonder why the crazy far right has become what they are not trusting the "journalists". (I would add crazy far left but their shenanigans get justified by the media)
