got canned yesterday without any explanation and only one warning that came 1 month into my employment.

worked there from July to February 14th, happy valentines day to me, have a nice life

Lamest Job I've had. Some good friends from there tho that I still talk to 4 years later.

Damn, that was a long time ago. I had completely forgotten I ever applied for a job there.

This. Hated the job, but made some good friends. It was kind of a "we're all in this together" mentality.

Did an internship there in '08 as IIS tech support, work for AT&T now. Decent company for B/CS area, no bad memories

I heard they hired some fresh out of A&M gal in their HR department back in May of 2010 that improved the place 1000%.

the department i worked in did technical support for parts department computers for ford dealerships. it was a great job for me during school.

I worked in the shipping and receiving department for 3 years from 2001 to Nov. 2004. I really enjoyed my time there. Had a lot of fun with the foam packing machines and a lot of fun in the cargo bay area after hours. We would have manual pallet jack races where you would stand on the platform with the handle pointed forward and swivel it side to side so the jack moved forward. We'd also play football and baseball. The foam packing machines were epic. We'd put together small fedex boxes but leave one end open, then fill it with foam and seal it quickly. It would then be thrown somewhere and a large boom would follow. We'd also have football agility contests in which the big rolls of bubble wrap were defenders. You could plow into one of those like Terry Tate! We'd also take leaps off the warehouse shelving (20-30ft tall) into huge vats filled with foam molds, bubble wrap, etc. It was a great college part time job but I'm lucky to have escaped uninjured haha.

If you talk to people who worked there part-time, most seem to have a different view of their time spent there. It seems that most part-time work was more enjoyable.

I worked full-time in the web department. We created and managed websites for car dealerships across the country.

It was a crap job and I was miserable there, but like others have said, I made a few close friends that I still talk to 4 years later.

Somehow I missed this thread eight years ago and the multiple times it has resurfaced since...after reading the whole thing, I feel like I need to call a therapist. I worked there for less than a year in the late 90's at the Hollister location. Holy crap that was daily hell.

Door codes, entrance tests, phone reports, dress code, KBS kernals, the parties....that place was messed up and like others, I am surprised there hasn't been a class action suit yet. It is a totally sick place that I couldn't leave fast enough. As soon as I got another job I was out of there and it was the happiest day of my life.

I agree with whoever said it earlier...we need to sticky this thread to protect other Ags from getting sucked in to a horrible job.

And yes, to answer the question asked somewhere earlier in this....Corey Pullig was there when I was there.

There is a VP in the Hollister office with some nice shotguns in a nice gun case in his office.

I worked there for a semester back in '98, in between COOP semesters with IBM. I fixed printer motherboards.

Did I miss the grenage story or was it never told?

I interviewed there back in '09 when I really wanted to quit my crappy job in Bryan. After that ridiculousness, I just walked out and told them not to call me.
