Have you had shortness of breath? And how far into the illness are you? Do you mind answering?
Believe he said no shortness of breath, just chest congestion and he's day 8 since first symptoms.
BallerStaf, were there any parts of the surgery where the patient's body fluids could aerosol into the air? A droplet of fluid getting around the a face shield/glasses and landing near the eye is a point of entry for the virus. It would be astronomical odds though for that to happen to everyone in the operating room.
Do you know if they were using surgical smoke evacuation during the surgery?

In reflection of your 8 day journey, would there be anything you would do different for self medicating in quarantine if you had to do it over? I suspect that most people are simply utilizing some form of OTC decongestant and fever reducer, but did you try anything in addition and see a positive result that is tangible.
