Top 8 is locked yes, but I 100% want the easiest path to Omaha. I'd rather play Indiana St or UCSB or some such than potentially LSU or State or even Cowpokes.

The Whistler made me start rooting against Vandy in their first game. He detracts from my game viewing experience. I can't imagine being near him at a game.

I realize that we're better off with Vandy winning this game, but as my rooting has no affect on the outcome (unlike A&M baseball!!), I'm rooting against them.

Proud of our guys fighting back from 8-0 down and through all that BS to win. It would have been a shame for an incredible game like that to be tarnished by a terrible ruling.

Absolutely ridiculous they gave Carolina a run on that play. It wasn't a balk, Neal didn't obstruct the plate, and Jackson never even touched the plate to score at any point. It's crazy they overruled their initial ruing to change the call without replay to give them a better look. That should never happen, and the rule needs to be changed to make the play reviewable so no other team can be screwed like that again in the future. All scoring plays should be reviewable, period.


I don't know who we can pitch tomorrow, so I hope Vandy wins. Their pitching situation won't be much better and their offense is less scary than Tennessee's.

To answer your question on the "LSU" and "Geaux Tigers" chants…. It's the same as fans in Blue Bell chanting the pitcher's first name, and yelling at the 1B and 3B coach to "get back in the box". Most fan bases have annoying chants. Texas A&M is no different.
I've been to many games in Austin and I've had to endure the "Texas fight" chants.

I have encountered it at Tennessee, Ole Miss, and in Austin, so yes it does happen at other places. There is no excuse for that behavior.

RPI is not the sole factor for determining seeding. Certainly a major one and as such I think they'll be a #3 Seed but we'll see on Monday.
