UCF went 2-1 at Globe Life and bumped its RPI to #32 -- should be in

TCU went 2-2 at Globe Life and sits at RPI #40

West Virginia at RPI #36 -- should be safe

so KState (A.D. on the committee) and t.u. would be the 6th and 7th teams

Horns went 20-10 and shared 2nd place in the #3 RPI conference, they're safe. KState's RPI is a Yankee team fabrication. I mean, good for them for gaming the system, but it's built on mid-week road trips to Northeastern, UConn, etc.

I think they're both probably in right now because there's a real soft bubble. But KState should be nervous IMO.

Things are interesting in Clearwater. WSU with a 2-0 lead until the 7th when ECU ties it up against the WSU starter who went 115 pitches earlier this week. He tired around the 85 pitch mark today.

WSU bounces right back and reclaims the lead in the 8th. WSU bullpen gets 2 quick ours before a single and more a pinch runner and a pitching change.

ECU loss results in a definite stolen bid.

After stolen base, wild pitch advanced the runner to 3rd the WSU closer comes back from 3-0 to get the K. On to 9.

ECU starts the 9th double, single, SF. 4-3 WSU 1 down.

Really epic battle ends in a single, runners at 1st/3rd, 1 out.

Short fly to LF and the fielder slips on the throw and misses home plate by 30 feet. Tie ballgame.

I turned on Southern Illinois at Indiana State because it's on. I've always wanted to visit Carbondale. That part of IL is supposed to be very pretty, and it isn't very far away from me. They have also have two total solar eclipses since 2017. Lucky b@st@rds.

Top of 1 with 2 outs and McNeese is already up 6-0 on Lamar. This is LU's 5th game in this tournament, so I imagine they're out of pitching. Also, the ball flies out of this park (in Hammond, LA). I don't think six is going to win this.

Lamar's starter gave up five and the last run was charged to a reliever.
