True, but there is little for us to gain, regardless of our finish, in this tournament. I'd love to win it, but would rather Schloss use it to set up his pitching, etc. moving into the regionals.

My kids asked. My wife asked. Who do you want to win and play tomm?

I have no clear answer. Wanna say MSU as we played well against them. Wanna say Ole Miss as their #1 is pitching today and they hopefully go deep in their bullpen.

But probably go with Miss St as I feel Ole Miss has far, far, far more to play for.

Thoughts?

Seems to me that we would treat tomorrow's game like a midweek game. I don't know who starts, but I'm not expecting more than a few innings from him. Maybe have Rudis chew up a few once the starter is done?

I think it's all about the RPI for State. Things fell into place for the committee to award 2 West Coast regionals without having to reach down below 16, so I don't see any reason for them to deviate. Playing us would give them an RPI boost. Maybe going 2-2 would do the trick. But, sitting at 24, they've got work to do, that's for sure.

An opener like Rudis or Peery (veteran guys), before we give the ball to some other guys. They seem eager to give Wilson a chance.

I think this A&M needs a good showing in the tourney. Mailing it in for the Regional round is a mistake IMO. Not saying you go as far as pitching Prager at least until Game 3. But we need the mid-season momentum and energy back. Yes, Braden, I am talking specifically to you.

This team should make it to the semis worse-case. If not, I am going into the NCAA being a very nervous fan.

Plus I want to play Vols!!

Tricky situation with a runner on first and two outs. Need to score him on one hit without the batter also scoring. Time to tie this game!
