I saw it, and I get it. Now count the number game-winning hits versus steals of home in the past 50 years. I don't care that it worked. It seemed pretty risky and kinda dumb to me. That's just my opinion. It's not a fact.

It would be a smarter call if cocky was batting in the bottom half. If it goes awry and LSU scores in the top half you've at least got another at bat

Regardless as long as it screws the swamp trash I'm fine with it

Vanderbilt tried this play yesterday and got thrown out at the plate… But Tim Corbett came out and argued that it was a balk because the catcher moved out in front of the plate and blocked the plate before he had the ball. His knee clearly touched the base just like the LSU catcher did, but they upheld the out.

The runner never touched home, but LSU didn't challenge it until way too late to get a review.

I can't imagine the meltdown on this board if we'd been screwed the way LSU just was.

Problem is, because of all the other reviews they kinda got screwed on that deal too. I'm not mad about it for LSU but this board would be calling for coaches' heads, burning down houses, etc, if that were us.

They had thrown 2 wild pitches to the previous batter. Yeah, on 0-2, I think there's a good chance that a waste pitch allows the runner to score.

Agree. But we do not like y'all. Sorry. Last trip to BR was interesting as a drunk Tiger (is that a redundancy) physically threatened one of our players mom and gf. He got escorted out and hopefully went to jail. And all the decent LSU fans were apologizing and all I could ask was "Why don't y'all stop this crap"?
