Wife picked this up at TW. Have done martinis and margaritas. Nails.

Tried the improved. Not as good as a Saz but a nice twist.
Yeah I'm just not a big fan of maraschino liqueur. There's just something off putting about it to me.
The Last Word is my favorite drink, so this is blasphemy to me.

If you really want to change it up, try a Final Word.
Same concept as a Last Word, but swap out the gin for a smokey Scotch and lime for a lemon. It's like a more herbal penicillin.

That also sounds good.

Very close to a St. Germain Gimlet. I use these proportions for the missus, but she likes to substitute Fresca for the club soda:txag2008 said:
That's always a popular one. Mine is similar, uses elderflower liqueur instead
2oz pear vodka
.5oz elderflower
1oz lemon
1oz simple syrup

Irish coffee, but with bourbon, on this freezing morning. I think it's called Cowboy Coffee.
I bought a bottle based on your recommendation and I must say I'm not disappointed in the least! Goes great with a margarita!Sazerac said:Sazerac said:

This is my new fave thing
Agreed, should be easy to find Peychaud's. Ango is not a substitute for Peychaud's. The two have different flavor profiles. I'm not a purist about much when making cocktails; experimentation is part of the fun. But a Sazerac with Ango is just not done. It's not a Sazerac anymore.Sazerac said:
Completely
Where do you live that you can't find peychaud's ?
Absolutely a great excuse!chet98 said:
