I may be mistaken but the ticket prices currently appear to be cheaper than last year. Maybe the front office will start to pay attention if prices continue to drop. At this point I just hope we tear it down and get some fresh talent. We know what this core group of guys can do. Unless everyone stays healthy and has a career year then I expect another disappointing season. I just hope CY isn't crazy enough to trot this roster out next season with minor wrinkles excepting a different result.

It's finally happening. I'm in my mid-thirties and for the first time ever when I've had the chance to sit and watch a game I've just been doing other things instead. I hate it, but something about the 24-26 Rangers is just so gross and uninteresting, even though there have been much worse teams record-wise over the years. Still can't really put a finger on why. All of this after winning the freaking World Series, which makes it even more weird.

I feel the same way and I think it's because of a lack of hope. By far and large, we've been stuck and are going to be stuck with this group for some time and there is zero in the way of excitement coming with young talent or prospects about to bust the door down

I'm the same as both of you. I did turn it off for about 10 seconds but I'm watching with zero hope. A 3 run lead seems insurmountable, much less a 4 run lead.

I wonder if, as fans, we feel this way BECAUSE we won the WS and now don't want to watch this crap. Conversely, we didn't look good that year either and I probably watched 130 regular season games that year.

It's just different I think because this is now 3 years running of crap offense and pretty good pitching. Maybe we should take the Rocker route and forego the first inning from here on out.

I've felt hopeless plenty of times. But I always still enjoyed going to the game or watching on TV. I've never felt apathy like this. Just a sour taste I've never experienced.

Admittedly part of it for me is the new stadium. I'll go to my grave cursing it. The Ballpark was the soul of the Rangers to me.
