Article from 2021, but MLB was documented to be altering the ball. I'm fact, someone tested the balls from NYY stadium the uear Judge went on his historic run, and the balls the used at home were at least in some quantity different than was found in any other stadium.

We really have no clue what MLB is doing behind the scenes with the ball.

I dig them. I like that they aren't so busy as our last ones. Only thing I don't really like is 'Tejas'. If they're going for Hispanic themed, Texas in Spanish isn't Tejas. Just feels inaccurate.

OK after seeing the full ensemble on the players, I like them. (And I'm one who prefers the Rangers in blue over red)

Are they the best we'll ever see? No. Not as cool as some of the bluebonnet themed concepts I saw on social media over the last week, but I think if you're gonna do something based on Texas history, something about Tejas is cool.

The color seems better than the leaked pictures. Still not a fan of the red lettering on a red jersey thing though. The hat I like.

Tejas was the Spanish interpretation of the Caddo Indian word "taysha" which means allies or friends. It never was an actual Spanish word, it's what the early Spanish explorers called the region we now know as Texas. But it's absolutely accurate if you're paying homage to the origin of the state name.

I know the background of the word. But especially after reading their explanation of everything, I can get behind it. Mainly that it's paying homage to the Caddo origin. Most people I've talked to about it have just thought Tejas was Spanish for Texas, which is incorrect.

They took some artistic license with "city connect". I don't see anything that really ties it to DFW. They're more of an alternate uniform, and as such, they're pretty cool. I like the return of the red/white a la the '90s teams, and I like the square T on the hats. Saw a jersey (maybe an early knockoff) at a tailgate on opening day and I liked it.

Put me down as a don't like for KC and Baltimore. Is the "C" for the Reds supposed to have some meaning or significance, or is it just supposed to look cool?

It was a different pic, but I wasn't crazy about Atlanta either.

I think they are all varying degrees of "fine". KC is the worst, and Pittsburgh is the closest to a "this just look like an alternate jersey".

I've heard that up close the Tejas jerseys look less like a theme night giveaway. A lot of detail.
