Yes of course it was, starting around July 1. All the more reason to be liberal with opening the roof prior to then, as opposed to requiring temperature, humidity, dew point, wet bulb whatever, wind, cloudiness, bird migration patterns, etc all be within a narrow range in order for it to be open. That place is a completely different park (in a good way) with the roof open.

Hit for .238, 17HR, and 15SB. Below all the minimums you set out. I do agree that given his age and it being arb 1, you gotta keep him on the roster. Would you be open to a trade if he falls below those minimum stats for 2 seasons in a row? I think it's worth a look at that point.

The one reason im bummed out about missing the playoffs is the path we would've gotten.

The white sox and guardians are both beatable. We could have at least made the ALCS which is not a bad season.

DOB: 2.22.99 (27.219)
Debut: 06.18.24 (25.117) - 50G, .171, 7 HR, 73 OPS+
2026: (27) - 154G, .264, 41 HR, 146 OPS+

Wyatt
DOB: 11.15.01 (24.318)
Debut: 03.28.24 (22.134) - 134G, .253, 16 HR, 115 OPS+
2026: (24.134) - 110G, .238, 17 HR, 15 SB, 118 OPS+

If you watched the Yankees tonight, Ben Rice just dominated the BoSox. Ben Rice made his debut at 25.117 and Wyatt is currently 24.134. Wyatt has almost a full more year to reach the age that Ben Rice made his debut. History basically says Wyatt won't even hit his prime until 2028.

For reference a 100 OPS+ is league average.

Ironically, Rice was a DH/1B this season, so I guess you'll have to decide..

I'm just glad that when our team quit, there wasn't a false sense that they were going to suddenly decide to play.

Saved our STHs a ton of money as well.

Not true. Did you watch our team this year? We could have easily been no-hit in Chicago's bullpen game. Nobody was coming to save this ****ty team in the playoffs.
