Got old quickly. Has settled into a .230 hitter whose 20-25 HR power is dwindling. Seager's average has been rough so far, but he's still hitting the ball out of the ballpark at a good rate. And with the law of averages, I think he'll get back close to the .270ish he's been the past 2 years

Before this year, he has 2 good months as a Ranger (mid 2023) and each of the past 2 seasons he has had a negative oWAR. He's a good defender at multiple positions, but that just meant Boch was finding a way to get his terrible bat in the lineup.

He's off to a solid start at the plate this year, so hopefully he has figured something out.

For his salary he's invaluable and it seems he contributes intangibles to the team. You need guys like him, Kiner-Falefa, and Garver at the end of the payroll for depth.

His fielding percentage was the best of our infielders last year. I'd expect his offensive contributions to be .225 with a handful of home runs.

Guess the news could have been worse for Langford. Glad it is only 10 days. Meanwhile, damn......our farm system is pretty depleted. Not much to choose from down there, especially when it comes to position players.

For a pitcher sure. I'm more surprised you don't have a catcher wiping out trying to field a foul ball. Having a pile of crap in the field of play seems like a bad idea.
