It's the same group that was rumored to be considering a Liverpool bid earlier. Obviously the names of all the stakeholders in the group aren't publicly available, but those that were listed by a couple of sources I read are all "government-adjacent" players in Qatar and neighboring nations. Seems as though this is the next move to avoid being a "state-run" club while still having access to shady funds from state sources. I hope the league does their due diligence for this sale and those coming soon after.
