Rashford and Antony have hit Pickford square on 1v1s and AWB missed an open net from 6 yds out. Surely we can score.
That's now 5 1v1 chances in against Pickford. Plus AWB. And no goals.
All the open shots and goal scorer extraordinaire Scott McTominay somehow scores out of a scrum of red and blue shirts.
Antony stopped by Pickford again. That's at least 3 for him alone. I hate him but Pickford is keeping them in this match all by himself.
It was a well taken goal too.
Now the question is...can we dominate like that in the 2nd half as well?

For all his shortcomings as a box to box midfielder he is certainly a tidy finisher
Bruno was fantastic today. He sat deeper in the 1H, controlled the midfield and made at least 3 superb long passes that could have been assists is anyone could finish.

17 wins, 7 losses and a +7 GD. That may be the most bizarre stat of the season. You really have to try to make that happen.

After the Newcastle thrashing, I would not have expected to say this. But I think this week solidified top 4. Us taking 6/6 points was not on my card to start the week. I don't see spurs having the stones to mount a real charge.

I prefer not to use the word "break" in the same post as Martial.
They don't need the stones, they just need VAR to keep screwing the teams they are playing against.
Thought it was interesting that two former United coaches were nominated for Coach of the Year in the Championship/League 1 (Carrick and McKenna respectively). Carrick as 'boro solidly in a playoff spot and according to FiveThirtyEight, Ipswich Town are slight favorites to win the league. I think/hope ETH will stick around for a long time but would be nice to see some managers with strong United ties move up the ranks and succeed.
