Ronaldo is really in your head. You need to just relax
SInce I entered the thread, every post has been regarding Ronaldo. I guess I could have changed the subject myself.planoaggie123 said:ColoradoMooseHerd said:

To be a tad fair your only posts on this thread at least in a few months is related solely to the defense of Ronaldo. So maybe a bit of the same thoughts of relaxing for you as well?
Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.

The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford.#MUFC

I wonder if any money changed hands or if they just decided enough was enough on both sides. I am guessing they paid him to go away.

Time to put this behind the team and move on. This has been way too big of a distraction for a player the team does not want as part of its future
True, it was very obvious that CR did not have an interest to be with MU, but that was only brought to light after they did not play him. A guy like CR has too big an ego to spend all the time on the bench and then brought in as a sub with 2:00 minutes left in the game. Anyone could have seen that was not going to work, it only seem like TH was trying to provoke CR with those attempts.missinAggieland said:ColoradoMooseHerd said:

You can argue this both ways. It is clear that CR doesn't have a real interest in Man U. He has been a distraction, period.

As I stated before they should part ways from him and they just did. I am just surprised that it took this long for it to get this way. There was no reason to keep him on the team the last few months when CR was poisoning the well. Everyone could see what was happening, should have pulled the trigger on him as soon as this drama started.missinAggieland said:
If he wants more playing time, then he needs to be more engaged on the field. He's a good player, but his tactics of allowing the team he is on to be a 10 v 11 team unless the ball is directly coming his way happens too often.
Breaking: Ronaldo walks away for nothing without a penny of the £16m remaining on his contract #mufc

EXCLUSIVE: Manchester United’s owners, the Glazer family, are to explore a sale of the club as part of a review of options that could also include selling a minority interest. An outright sale would bring an end to 17 years of controversial ownership. https://t.co/ZJurxzvUxK

This has been needed for quite some time. Hopefully they find an ownership group that will inspire the fan base.Dre_00 said:

Liverpool and United up for sale at the same time (though I bet the Glazers only sell a minority stake).
What a time to be alive.
