Think it's safe to say none of tonight's new starters showed any reason why they should be getting more starts. Fred and Ronaldo were the worst offenders by far though.
We need to be resting our key premier league starters in these games and using new / young talent vs fred, ronaldo, etc. i was hoping ronaldo might play a role in europa but his age is showing quickly...

Well no EPL games for a month for us. Transnistria...here we come.
Had a quick look at the calendar. The earliest date that either of these 2 postponed games could theoretically be rescheduled for would be January 10/11 and then again on January 17/18. If that happens, you'd have something like...

Dec 31: Wolves (A)
Jan 02: Bournemouth (H)
Jan 07: FA Cup 3rd Round
Jan 10: Leeds or Crystal Palace
Jan 14: Man City (H)
Jan 17: Leeds or Crystal Palace
Jan 21: Arsenal (A)
8 games in 1 month. Immediately after the World Cup. And we lose the week of rest we would have had leading up to City and Arsenal.
Obviously, this is just a guess. But I'm assuming they'll want to reschedule these games sooner rather than later. If United qualify for the knockout phase of the EL, these games will only get harder to reschedule the longer they wait.

It was great to see Rashford come on and immediately turn the game around. Martial and Shaw both looked good coming on as well. I'm convinced that Ronaldo has the yips, he is pressing way too much and too hard

Overall a solid half. We outplayed them but continue to shoot ourselves in the foot with giving the ball away defensively and in midfield. There were multiple head scratching passes to no one in red.

Missed most of the 1st half but that Iwobi goal was a banger. Yeah probably shouldn't have given the ball away so cheaply but not much you can do when someone hits it like that. Ronaldo is going to have to score a lot more before he convinces me he's anything other than a sub/bit player. He still gets in the way of progress way too often.
