I got to watch the second half and the team played pretty well. Ibra looked better than he has in a few weeks. Pogba played on the wing which was kind of strange, he seemed a bit out of place there.
Schneiderlin came on for Mata and played in front of Herrera and Carrick. I thought he looked pretty good, hopefully he starts getting more playing time.

Also, Shaw played great in the second half and the Blind/Rojo pairing at CB actually worked well. City was without De Bruyne and Silva, but Aguero and Sterling came on in the second half so it wasn't a totally scrub lineup.
Aguero came on with like 20 minutes left. It was a lot closer to a reserve side than it was to a 1st team side. In contrast, United's side was a lot closer to a 1st team side than a reserve side.
Glad we won and all but getting a decent performance against that side at home shouldn't be cause for massive celebration...but at least it was better than Sunday's performance.

The only good thing about Bailly being out is that it should give Shaw a chance to work his way back into the first team. They dude was our best player last season before he broke his leg. Mourinho's treatment of him, Miki, and Schweiny is a lot less palatable when the team isn't performing terribly well.

Pulling Mata off, even when down to 10, was baffling. He was involved in every good United attack. Brutal game to not take 3 points from. Redo of the Stoke game before the international break. Hopefully, our luck starts to change.

Darmian didn't look bad against Burnley but I would hope he wouldn't given the talent they have and they way they set up. Fosu Mensah should be the starter now especially since the rumor is Darmian is on his way out in January but he'll probably share time with Darmian at best.
As for Schweini, it's a shame to see him treated like this. I believe he was a United fan as a kid. The guy legitimately liked the club before he became a player. Can't be easy for him to be exiled like this. To his credit, he's nothing but positive and encouraging to the team on Twitter.
