On Monday, August 2nd I began doing 5 sets of situps, 6 days a week for 3 months. I set a reminder on my calendar and it takes me 2 minutes to do them. I started at 20 situps per set, and I am now up to 40 situps per set.

By the end of October, I had completed 9,510 situps, and in October I completed 1,987 pushups.

Are you really weighing and measuring out your portions or are you more eyeballing everything? Are there any other snacks (trail mix, maybe) that you are not "logging"?
I ask because, by the numbers, it appears you're only eating 1000-1500kcal/day which should yield at least 2-3# weight loss per week.

Am measuring. Obviously on the weekends I am eating and have not logged as closely those days. My snacks are a handful of grapes or blueberries sometimes a piece of toast with honey or a tablespoon of preserves. Not eating candy or cookies or anything along those lines.

Hate to be so negative, but from a macronutrient standpoint, grapes, toast, jam and honey might as well be candy. That is pretty much pure carbs/sugar

It is a trade off. I eat those so I don't eat a box of m&ms or a package of cookies or a candy bar or a milkshake It keeps my sweet cravings in check and acts as a small indulgence vs having huge binges on chocolate, cake, cookies etc.

Seek out snacks that provide other nutritional benefits - omega 3 trail mix, dried prunes or apricots (fiber and sweetness), celery & crunchy natural peanut butter, an apple, plain yogurt & raw granola, etc.
I understand the "this vs that" but if you're still having strong sweet cravings then you haven't broken your addiction to processed sugar.

You are still dropping a pound a week give or take. Clearly you are blowing it out a little on the weekends but not terribly so if you are happy with that pace, seems like it is going alright for you right now.

I think people are just saying when you snack, get some value out of it. Grapes or Jelly toast aren't necessarily bad for you, but there are more efficient snacks to eat that can keep you full and be satisfying to eat. One thing I'd advise for you is cut grapes out for now and just do berries. Much better nutritional value, a little less sugar and a little less calories. They will keep you fuller longer and it is a way to cut a little bit more sugar out of your diet. Other one (listed above me but in a different order) is apple and peanut butter. Not a perfect snack, but super good bang for your buck for a snack.
