Missed Friday's weigh in. Weighed this morning to check. But I had already had ~2 to 3 pounds of water, coffee and food. Was at 217. So I am expecting weight to be down this Friday

This post is nothing short of amazing. I'm inspired. I literally weighed 282 this morning. I was 308 in January and have been trying to eat better and now I'm fasting too. I just cant break that 280lb floor. I see you did and thats a huge motivator for me.

Effing fantastic progress!
I always pack at least a pair of running shoes and a few sets of clothes so I can stay in the habit of knocking out an early morning run before the family wakes. Then where ever the day takes us, I splurge a little, try new foods/drinks but don't overindulge because I also want to enjoy the next morning's run.

I don't know if this will help YOU or not, but stop thinking of it as weight. Its all about size. If you want to look/feel better, eat better and exercise. You almost certainly will drop bodyfat, usually on your waist area. Your pants will fit better or you'll need a smaller size. I'm not saying its easy, but the thing is, depending on what you're doing to "lose weight" (e.g. gym workouts including strength training), you may actually be adding muscle which INCREASES weight. Thus, on the scale you think you're not doing well when in fact you're doing fine or even very well.

If a man has a 48" chest and a 32" waist, is he really going to care if he weighs 180 or 215?

Often times when people lose weight they start out with a goal in mind. However, once they've lost a bunch of weight they realize that they could actually stand to shed even more than they had originally thought. Do you still want to reach the same original goal or are you thinking that you would want to lose a bit more?
