Were any of you able to get through on the presale today? I didn't see the email in time.

I wonder how many tickets were actually for sale, after eliminating season ticket holders, and league and corporate sponsor tickets.

I got in. Stros wanted damn near $400 for nosebleeds with an obstructed view. F that.

The email said my exclusive "presale" was from Noon to 1 today.
Then another email sent at 1:12PM said "world series tickets now on sale."

I assume we missed on face price, I didn't find anything on the seating map.

They had $290 SRO tickets when I looked. Strangely, i could only buy 1 at a time. When I put in two tickets together, nothing came back.

Are they going to stop you from standing together?

What do you think any pitcher is trying to do?
Pitchers approach hitters differently based on game situation. With a 1 run lead, you are going to nibble a lot more at the corners and try to get them to swing at balls, while trying to avoid making a mistake that can tie the game with one swing. With a 5 run lead late in the game, you are going to go after the hitter by putting your nastiest pitches in the strike zone and daring them to hit it. The worst thing in that situation is to not even give the guy a chance to swing and miss by throwing balls, and you end up with a base runner and never had a chance at an out.

I was in the room here one day... watchin' the Mexican channel on TV. I don't know nothin' about Pele. I'm watchin' what this guy can do with a ball and his feet. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and flips into a somersault and kicks the ball in - upside down and backwards... the dang (sc) goalie never knew what the hell hit him. Pele gets excited and he rips off his jersey and starts running around the stadium waving it around his head. Everybody's screaming in Spanish. I'
