Romo with one of the more modern aggressive minded coaches would have been an interesting combo. I think saddling him with Garrett was like staying in a bad marriage
I hope to some day die on a hill saying Romo would be a hall of famer if not dragged down by Garrett the head coach and Jerry the GM.
If you disagree, see me on the hill
Tony Romo was too careless with the ball to ever be a hall of famer.
The 2006 Seahawks (9-7) and 2007 Giants (10-6) were not that great...and he just did not deliver when the team needed him to.
Romo leads the Cowboys to 45 and 31 point totals against the 2007 Giants in the regular season but can only muster 17 points in the playoff game at home
I saw enough from Romo over the years to know that he wasn't the guy to get it done.
I do think Dak Prescott is a much better player......but Dak has to win on Monday or he's going to start having to take the same criticisms that Romo did.
Romo was 2-4 in the post season. Right now Dak is 1-3.
If Dak wins a playoff game on the road, or gets Dallas to the NFC Championship game his legacy will surpass Romo's.
