High ankles are typically 4-6 weeks.
Yeah, a high ankle sprain on a big man is not good. The degree matters, but that's a nasty injury that is slow to heal

3 weeks away. I did forget the regular season goes longer calendar wise now too, but still it's not far off.
If it's a legit high ankle, could easily be 6-8 weeks and still hampered even then. That's oftentimes an injury that requires an offseason to get right again

And FYI for anybody that wants to talk crap... with the NFL 53 man rosters it's impossible to sit everybody.
As much as we'd like to think the injury to Tyler B was avoidable, he was probably playing even if it was 33-7 in the 4th. Just bad luck via the roll up injury.

Tyler Biadasz will not play in the season finale vs. Washington because of a high ankle sprain but the Cowboys have some hope he can play in a potential wild-card game, per source. Not as severe as it could have been.

Frustrating part is Dallas was up 14 at GB and 17 at Jax. Oh well, this team has overcome a lot of adversity with injuries from early in the season. Hopefully the ball bounces our way for once in the playoffs. God knows we're due.

After the debacle against San Francisco last season.....I want the 5 seed. The Cowboys need to break their road post season drought (1992).....and they need to beat Tom Brady.
The problem with the 2007, 2016 and 2021 Dallas Cowboys is that they all failed to win a playoff game after an amazing regular season. It made the entire season seem like a failure.
Right now I have Tony Romo and Dak Prescott as equal players. Prescott will surpass Romo if he can win a post season game on the road.
Man I sure would love to have that corner from TCU (Hodges-Tomlinson). Dude is legit and would be awesome to have opposite of Diggs.

McCarthy will always have his haters. I've never understood it. Dude is one of the most proven coaches in the league.
I'll chime in on McCarthy because I called for his head plenty of times. I think he's done great this season. I've noticed a lot less bone head decisions and guiding them through the early part without Dak was phenomenal. He's letting his coaches coach, and the team seems to like him. I'm glad because I want them to win, not look for a coach every 4 years.

True. This is the most good consistency the Cowboys have had since the 90's. Good coach.
I think McCarthy has been a good coach, and if they fired him, I have no idea who you'd replace him with.
A lot of Cowboys fans have been calling for Sean Payton but I like what MM has done. The real kicker is gonna be if Dan Quinn leaves to be a HC somewhere what will the defense look like and who they get to replace him

I just don't quite get the Payton lovefest. I think he mostly underachieved with Brees after that SB which was a long-ass time ago. Lots of good seasons which teams with a franchise QB tend to have. Not bad, but just not a dude I'm surrendering good draft picks for. One conference championship game appearance in 11 seasons after that SB. Meh.
I think the SP love was during the offseason after most assumed we'd suck this year. That's obviously not the case and Jerry would be foolish to fire Mike after this season.
But even if Jerry did, I'd rather make Quinn the HC than give up draft picks for Payton.
