Prime Minister Mark Carney says with Canada's immigration system back under control, the question now is about when to begin a "controlled increase" of the country's population.
Carney made the remark in a recent interview with the New York Times, just over a month before the government is required by law to release its immigration levels plan for the next three years.

The patriots rose up and the Canadian gov't enacted the War Measures Act. Which had only been done twice before for WWI and WWII. They froze bank accounts, took people's money and have prosecuted and jailed many for what was ruled a legal protest.

I participated, many close friends and neighbours organized, I know numerous that stoop arm in arm, nose to nose with the unpatched foreign soldiers that beat the **** out of them, and I know several who were pulled out of their trucks at gun point an have since had their livelihoods ruined by gov't and fellow "vaxxed" Canadians.

I'm thinking our gov't proved their point and most who already stood up aren't up for getting beat down again.

Everything stems from the fact that our media is controlled to an extreme degree. Far beyond pre-Trump America. The minds are captured here and they have no clue.

That sounds like a horrible situation. I wish there were something Canada's neighbor to the south could do to help other than release a bunch of tough guy social media warriors that won't get off their couch much less put their own life and livelihood at risk.

I don't think an American militia/vigilante group, let alone kinetic actions by our government are a great idea at all. We are taking their industry back they built up for many decades via unfair trade practices by tariffs/trade agreement uncertainty slowly but steadily.

That's the easy answer; the tougher part is next restricting/controlling border traffic more strictly, and limiting the narcotic trade/banking etc. they make very simple for criminals.

Banking/finance are the areas to focus on immediately/short term imho. And Europe (not just Kiev) is not a magical solution to any of his problems, it's just optics.

Alberta will never be allowed to leave even if they follow the rules. Too much money that the socialists in Ottawa depend upon to buy votes in Quebec and the eastern provinces. Ottawa will find some excuse like "oh but the local tribes oppose it so you can't leave"'

Their only hope is that us they do have a clear referendum that the US steps in and acknowledges Alberta independence because if we say Alberta is independent then it's independent and not a lot that Canada can do about it

They won't even join the European Union for real. They'll take sucker "Associate Member" deal where they have to accept all of EU regulations that crush their economy and let Europe dump their African illegals on Canada (which Carney will gladly accept)
