It's already an endless war with no end in sight and no end to the killing. We're just supposed to write a check when asked and say nothing...I think that's the wrong approach and we need to consider America's interests first. This is becoming an Eastern European version of Afghanistan where there's no plan and just endless fighting. The whole "We gotta fight em over there so we don't have to fight em here" philosophy has soured a lot of Americans on global conflict.Quote:
There will be endless war without our aid. These people hate each other and it won't stop simply because we pull aid. More will die.

What's funny is that there are people here who actually believe that Zellensky is a lone ranger in all of this, and not someone's puppet.
The fact that so many people starred the post calling him a hero speaks volumes.
No one is a hero here. Not Putin, Not Zelensky, not the EU nations for marching this conflict down the road, not the US for funneling Billions to Ukraine.
This is a disaster that needs to stop. But Zelensky is a moron who's propagating more conflict.
This conflict could stop in seconds if Russia removed their forces from another country.
Can you acknowledge that the CIA overthrew the country in 2014?
And expanded nato against a long held agreement, we had with russia?
We had no agreement with Russia not to expand NATO.
We didn't make this promise either. Even Gorbachev said no such agreement existed.

Lol.
How about the first question?.
The CIA did exactly the same thing in Ukraine as Russia was doing.
We won. Then their people elected another guy after that in zelensky.
Glad you're on record admitting that the cia overthrew an elected government in ukraine and install its own regime.
You just acknowledged that zelensky is a puppet.
There's nothing more to argue with you about.
Zelensky won the election AFTER that one beating the guy the CIA "installed"

Zelensky errors today:
— Jordan Schachtel (@JordanSchachtel) February 28, 2025
1) Shows up in costume, not a suit
2) Has 0 awareness about his geopolitical standing
3) Blackmails POTUS w "Russia will be at your doorstep" talk
4) Ambassador emotes in front of press, humiliating delegation
5) No respect, demands more money
What a mess.
Check the time on the X post. He did a quick 180 after being kicked out of the WH.Jbob04 said:

Yes as soon as his constitution allows. Not doing so is what a dictator does.

Ukraine is not in a position to negotiate. They need us to assist with that. If they give us minerals, in exchange for leverage, they can negotiate peace.
Without us, they will lose. Trump and JD know this. Russia knows this. Everyone knows this.
But Z is being very very short sighted.

Who gives a **** what Lindsey thinks or says. He's such a flip-flopping twerp who takes whatever side and position seems to be popular at the moment. Agreed. Frustrating display by all three of them for anyone who actually wants to see peace happen, but especially Zelenskyy. He has to know by now that you have to schmooze Trump in order to have him on your side. Even if he was right about Russia that's not nearly as important to Ukraine at this point as getting the deal done. Hopefully they get it figured out.

Yeah I don't know what to think about this exchange. Never seen anything like it. It would have been better if they had a piano staged nearby. ...just so everyone remembers who this squirt was pre-Victoria Nuland.FCBlitz said:

Trump hates disrespect but also doesn't hold lasting grudges. If Zelensky will play ball and give Trump a political win, Trump will be cordial and friendly AND will play ball on security also.
All Zelensky had to do is play along and he would get much greater contributions to Ukrainian security, and more pressure on Russia to settle. He just can't bring himself to have to admit them at Ukraine will lose territory from 2014 in a deal.
